In 2009, Pat O’Noonan from O’Noonan Construction asked CJ Hordynski if he would like to provide a design for an expansion of a small home in South Minneapolis. During the early stages of the project, the owner; Amy Gaston was diagnose with the breast cancer. She and her husband decided to put the project on hold. She decided to go ahead with the project after O’Noonan proposed a plan that would benefit both Amy and her family and support breast cancer research.
“This project, which started with the simple thought of helping out a family, has turned into a charitable, grassroots effort involving many of our suppliers, vendors, subcontractors, designers and business associates. So many of us have joined forces to help build a family’s dream home and hosting an event that raised money for Breast Cancer Research.”

CJ Hordynski provided the design for the project and donated most of his fee to The Pink Ribbon Project.
